Directories Still Have Value To Search Marketers

Directories have diminished in importance, given how the major search engines have abandoned them, as I've written about in the past. But in Directories: Love 'em or Leave 'em from Search Engine Guide, David Wallace takes another look from a search marketer's perspective about why you might not want to scratch them off the list entirely. Sure, they aren't giant traffic generators any more -- but they do send noticeable traffic. Plus, they remain important links to the crawlers.
