A panel discussion, "The Ethics and Politics of Search Engines," is coming up on Monday, Feb. 27, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Benson Center, Santa Clara University. Panelists include Peter Norvig (Google director of research), Terry Winograd (professor of computer science, Stanford), and Geoffrey C. Bowker (executive director, Center for Science, Technology and Society, Santa Clara University). The panel will be moderated by Kirk O. Hanson, executive director, Markkula Center for Applied Ethics.
