2009 Holiday Benchmarks: Online Shopping is Up, Up, and More Up
This week, comScore has released important numbers as they relate to the 2009 online holiday shopping season thus far.
We already know that Thanksgiving Day was up 10% and Black Friday was up 11% year-over-year. We heard from Coremetrics that Cyber Monday was up 13% from 2008. But comScore’s data shows a lesser increase, at 5% year-over year. The week ending December 6 was up 3%, while the entire season, beginning November 1, was up 3% as of December 6.
