Third Annual Doodle 4 Google Contest Underway
Kids show off their artistic chops.
Google has unveiled the theme for the third annual Doodle 4 Google contest: “If Could Do Anything, I Would…”
The contest invites kids and teens to design a Google logo according to the given theme. Submissions are accepted through March 31, 2010. Your school must be registered by March 17, 2010.
After the deadline, Google will call upon a panel of Expert Jurors, which will include cartoonists and animators from Sesame Street and Pixar Animation Studios, to select the finalists. The 40 finalists will be invited to Google’s office in New York City on May 26, 2010. Their art will be on display at the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum again this year.
For the first time this year, Google will give out eight Technology Booster awards to the schools that submit the most Doodles. Check out the official Doodle 4 Google website for more info.
