Local search engine CitySquares is the latest to incorporate Twitter into their offering. They're allowing businesses to display their Twitter feed on their profiles.
Not only is this a great way to add an additional method of contacting your business, but it offers you the opportunity to show off your customer service chops to potential customers. Also, if you regularly Tweet about promotions or coupons, it could entice a new customer to come in and make a purchase.
Marissa Green, Marketing Associate at CitySquares commented on their official blog:
Every feature we have added to our customers' profiles are based on our constant desire to make each business' page a one-stop shop for customers interested in businesses within their local communities. We want to help businesses provide information but also be able to show their personality with every word they type and html code they insert.
If you're not using Twitter for your business, this move by CitySquares is a great reminder to get involved in using the social network as a marketing tool. Twitter has already been incorporated into Google, Yahoo! and Bing.
