Yahoo CEO Bartz Says Would Have Sold Yahoo, Mocks Facebook
In an interview on CNBC, Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz stated she would have sold Yahoo at $36 when Microsoft was offering, includes a dig at Facebook and admits Yahoo “is really not a Google”.
During the interview, shown below, Bartz asks “what is Facebook’s revenue model” while explaining why the company is not Google – “concentrated on search” . Guess YouTube and the other non search products like Gmail don’t count, nor Facebook’s number two traffic ranking behind Google compared to Yahoo’s four after YouTube.
