More Video Marketing Case Studies from Leading Brands
Yesterday, I posted Video Marketing Case Studies with David Meerman Scott and Me. At the end of the post, I said, “If you have any video marketing case studies that you’d like to share with us, just mention them.” Silly me.
Any journalist or blogger who invites readers to “tell me what you think” shouldn’t be surprised when they do. So, in no particular order, here are some additional video marketing case studies from leading brands.
BMW uploaded this video on March 5, 2010, and it already has 1,241,778 views. “From zero to 100km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds sounds very nice. But would that help in our XXXL-experiment? Don’t try this at home with your dishes. Or your mom’s ones.”
Coca-Cola uploaded this video on January 12, 2010, and it already has 1,729,548 views. “A Coca-Cola vending machine is transformed into a happiness machine delivering ‘doses’ of happiness. Where will happiness strike next?”
156 Countries Sing Together for the Starbucks Love Project
Starbucks uploaded this video on December 13, 2009, and it already has 1,668,759 views. “On December 7th, 2009 at 1:30pm GMT Starbucks invited musicians from all over the world to sing together at the same time to raise awareness for AIDS in Africa. In that one breathtaking moment, musicians from 156 countries played ‘All You Need is Love’ together.”
Based on the three examples above, it appears that the leading brands “get” the power of video marketing. As I mentioned yesterday, if you have other examples, just mention them in the comments section below.
