SEMPO New Board of Directors Brings Worldwide Focus
The Board of Directors of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) today announced the election of a new slate of officers. Jeffrey Pruitt was re-elected Chairman and Chris Boggs was elected President.
Jeffrey Pruitt, CEO of Tallwave said that he was, “thrilled to be returning as the chairman for this year. We made a great deal of progress towards our goal of extending SEMPO’s activities globally and locally, and… I’m looking forward to working with our new board, of which five are mainly based outside the U.S.”
Chris Boggs, Director, Search Engine Optimization, ROSETTA, said that he was ready to “lead the charge to expand our reputation as thought leaders in the global search arena.”

SEMPO is a global non-profit organization representing the search engine marketing industry in 40 countries and has more than 800 members. It aims to represent common interests of companies and consultants worldwide and provides them with a voice in the marketplace and a foundation for industry growth. SEMPO’s goals are to foster awareness and provide education to create a better understanding of search and its role in the marketing mix.
