SES Toronto 2010: So Many Speakers, So Little Time

It’s hard to believe, but SES Toronto 2010 gets underway in a month. And looking over the conference agenda, I’m having a tough time figuring out which sessions to attend.

Now in its seventh year, SES Toronto is organized and programmed by the SES Advisory Board and SearchEngineWatch.com. The event is packed with sessions covering brand new topics like Video: Next Marketing Frontier, 21 Secrets of Top Converting Websites, Twitter Nation, and Search, PR & the Social Butterfly.

And there are two keynotes, an exhibit floor with companies that can help you grow your business, networking events, parties and more.

With so many speakers and so little time, I’ve started to triage the sessions down to a list of ones that I plan to attend. Yes, it helps that I’ve attended each and every SES Toronto since the first one in 2004. But, I also have a secret dossier on half of the speakers that helps me figure out who I need to hear.

Are you interested in taking a peak?

Well, it’s hidden in plain sight on SESConferenceExpo’s Channel on YouTube. If you conduct some YouTube searches, you’ll discover videos featuring 24 out of the 53 speakers at SES Toronto 2010.

As you might expect, you’ll find a video featuring Peter Morville, President of Semantic Studios and the keynote speaker on Day 1 of the conference.

And if you are really ambitious, you’ll find 463 videos at SESConferenceExpo’s Channel. But one word of warning. The duration of the average online video is 4.3 minutes, so you’ll find about 1,991 minutes — or 33.2 hours — of video interviews with SES experts.

You might as well just go to SES Toronto 2010. You can hear 53 speakers in just two days. It’s probably a more efficient use of your time.
