SES Chicago 2010 is Being Held in October!?!
Now, I’ve known for months that SES Chicago 2010 was being moved from it’s traditional slot in December to October this year, but I was surprised at SES San Francisco last week to hear an industry veteran blurt out, “SES Chicago is being held in October!?!”

Yep, it will be held in the same place — the Hilton Chicago — but in a whole new season: Autumn, also known as fall in American English. That’s right, SES Chicago is being held Oct. 18-22 — before Halloween — instead of in mid-December — after Thanksgiving.
Wow, imagine being in the Windy City before it becomes “The Chill,” as rap musicians from the area refer to Chicago, Illinois. I may wear my Tommy Bahama shirt to “The Miami of Canada,” as Mr. Burns referred to Chi-Town in an episode of The Simpsons. I may even enjoy visiting The Second City before it is trapped in the frozen central zone in the Ninth Circle of Hell.
