A new Google project, Google Demo Slam, will be unveiled tomorrow. No word yet on what exactly it is, and the Flash website offers only a few vague clues thus far:
"Technology is awesome. Learning about it isn't. Until now."
The welcome message says "Welcome to Demo Slam. Where a little creativity takes tech demos from mundane to mind-blowing. All thanks to people like you. So come watch, choose your favorites and most importantly, show the world what you can do. This Wednesday the Slamming Preseason begins."
Seems to indicate some sort of competition, as does the stadium design, featuring little figures holding umbrellas that turn into signs that read "Men in wigs rock" and "Support overweight rabbits!" A third figure is mowing grass, occasionally pausing to scratch his head.
