Google Promotes Susan Wojcicki to Senior VP
Google has promoted Susan Wojcicki from vice president of product management to senior vice president. Wojcicki, Google’s 18th employee, will continue her duties, overseeing Google AdWords, AdSense and Analytics.
There are eight other senior vice presidents at Google, including one other woman, Shona L. Brown, who oversees business operations.
Wojcicki has been responsible for advertising and analytics products since 2006, previously working on Google Images, Video, and Books. She also rented her garage to Sergey Brin and Larry Page in 1998 in the early days of Google.
This follows the recent promotion of Marissa Mayer, who is now in charge of location and local services.
