Google To Filter Content Piracy Terms From Autocomplete

The Public Policy blog at Google outlined their new moves to protect copyrights including “prevent terms that are closely associated with piracy from appearing in Autocomplete.”

The post titled “Making Copyright Work Better” also stated changes would be made to improving reported copyright infringement takedown times – to 24 hours where possible; better Adsense anti-piracy reviews, and experiment making authorized preview content more readily accessible in the search results.
