Google Ireland is sporting the winning logo of the Google Ireland Doodle 4 Google contest. The contest, which also runs in the U.S., allows kids to submit hand-drawn renditions of a Google logo. The winner gets their Doodle put on the Google home page for 24 hours.

Ireland's winner is 6-year-old Layla Karpuz, a student from Mary, Mother of Hope Junior National School in Dublin. Layla named her Doodle "Love Google."
In her submission, she described the Doodle as "all the things that make me happy." She put hearts, curls, shamrocks, people with fancy hats, people going on a bear hunt, men disguised as grass, plants, Grannies, and a caterpillar into her Doodle.
The U.S. Doodle contest concluded March 2. Controversy surrounded the contest after it was discovered Google's application requested the social security numbers of the children participating in the contest. The U.S. winner will be featured on Google's home page May 20.
