Realtime results on Google Trends are more like a trip into the past today. Google's Hot Topics, found on Google Trends, and usually updated regularly, appear to have not changed since last week.
When the hot topics feature graduated in 2009, Google's goal was to "show the most common topics people are publishing to the web in real-time." That definitely isn't the case right now with this top 10 list:
- kelly clarkson
- radio
- beck
- shutdown
- boehner
- shooting
- masters
- garcia
- kyrie irving
- anonymous
Hot Searches seems to be functioning as normal (last updated at 2:07 p.m. ET as of this writing). This glitch was first reported by WebProNews.
