Women dominated the top terms in June. Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt continued to gain popularity, represented once again among the top gainers. Actresses Denise Richards and Jennifer Lopez also gained popularity.
The X-Files movie got many people searching for the truth out there via MetaCrawler, while others probably were seeking that live Internet birth.
Computer game fans continued to be into Gran Turismo, while Unreal was a new entry. Real world game fans sought World Cup information.
Finally, Monica Lewinsky grabbed people's attention once again. The word "monica" was ranked 1,084 in March, then declined until June, when it broke 1,000.
